Clarence Town Anglican Parish forms a part of the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, which covers the area from Gosford through to Taree and up to Scone in the state of NSW in Australia. Clarence Town parish covers the towns and localities of Clarence Town, Glen Oak, Glen William, Booral, Allworth, Karuah, Balickera, East Seaham, Seaham, and Brandy Hill. Currently operating are five preaching centres with regular services as listed below.
The Anglican Parish of Clarence Town has undergone some significant changes recently, joining the "Becoming Ministering Communities in Mission" Diocesan Vision, and has also been declared part of the Experimental Pastoral Area (a.k.a. “EPA”) of Clarence Town and Stroud, within the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle as of March 2009.
BBQ Church at Glen Oak is a fresh expression of church, aimed at families and youth and children meeting together in a brand new way that meets where the community is at and in a style anyone can enjoy. The next date is Saturday 28th August May 2010 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Glen Oak Hall and includes a BBQ dinner.
This is an outreach to anyone who doesn't go to church much or at all. Have a cuppa and a chat, enjoy some activities, and a short upbeat worship time, with the whole family attending.
This is a joint ecumenical initiative of the Anglican Parish of Clarence Town and the Uniting Church Grahamstown Linked Congregations.

Where there is a 5th Sunday, centres alternate at 10:30am followed by a bring and share lunch.
The next 5th Sunday service is August 29th 2010, to be held at Seaham at 10:30am.
Some services may on occasion operate as a morning or evening prayer format, depending on available clergy.
